Global Warming and Nobel Prize
The 2007 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to global warming
scientists and educators—the United Nation's Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Al Gore. Since 1990, the IPCC
has been conducting scientific assessments of global warming,
and Al Gore has been educating the public.
The latest IPCC report documents that scientists are now 90 percent certain that
humans are causing global warming, primarily through burning oil, coal, and gas.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ranks global warming as our
greatest environmental health threat.
